Researcher & team co-leader of the PVPP team

Research subject:

My research focuses on the role of cell walls and their components in the properties of plant tissues and their end-use quality. I am particularly interested in the variability of cell walls depending on development stages and growing conditions (in particular the impact of global warming), in order to understand the effects of this variability on plant organs (e.g.  shape, structure and composition of cereal grains) and their end-use quality of use (e.g. milling and breadmaking aptitude of wheat grain, fiber extraction capacity of plant stem).
Keywords: cell walls, climate change, plant quality
