Uncovering the Allergic Potential of Hemp Seed, an Emerging Food Ingredient

What are the role of microplastics in the health effects of environmental contaminants?

The LETSPROSEED project is financed by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (French National Research Agency) as part of the 4th Future Investment Programme, with the aim of developing legume acreage in France. It is coordinated by UMR Agroécologie in Dijon and involves several BIA teams.

The Ecobiotic project is funded by the ANR as part of the HDHL JPI (A healthy diet for a healthy life). It aims to assess the effects of pre- and probiotics administered to pregnant women and their infants in early life on the occurrence of food allergies, host immunity and the ecology of the microbiota in stools and breast milk.

This project aims to assess the health benefits of fermented dairy products in young children and the elderly. In this context, the Allergy team will study the ability of bacteria from a collection of micro-organisms or isolated from breast milk samples to prevent the onset of food allergies.

The aim of this project is to characterise the effects of maternal supplementation with prebiotics on the maturation of the immune system and the composition of the intestinal microbiota and milk in order to prevent infantile allergy.
