Research subject:

I held a technical master degree in Processes and Bioprocesses engineering with a specialization in Food Industries. Part of the European UPWEARS project led by Sofiane Guessasma, I am currently working on a PhD focused on upgrading processes to obtain cellulosic fibres for the textile industry from flax and hemp. My goal is to establish a fibre degumming/bleaching process using NAtural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES) to replace the current processes, which cause environmental and economic concerns due to the use of highly concentrated sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide, and high temperatures.
