Congratulations to Eugenia ASAMOAH for winning the ‘’E-Tech GEPEA‘’ prize at ICEF14

Eugenia ASAMOAH was awarded the prize for the best e-technology presentation at the ICEF14 conference held at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes on 19-22 June 2023. Congratulations, Eugenia!

Prix E-TechGEPEA Eugenia Asamoah

Eugenia ASAMOAH was awarded the E-Tech-GEPEA prize for her presentation entitled ‘Investigation of Pound Cake Baking in the Case of Ohmic Heating for an application in 3D printing’.

His work was carried out as part of the E-OHM CAKE project: cake baking using ohmic heating in batch and continuous processes, impact on structure and product, supervised by Alain and Patricia Le Bail and Olivier Rouaud.

This prize is dedicated to presentations of technologies in which electrical and electromagnetic interaction with food is the driving force.

Summary

ICEF (International Congress on Ingineering and Food) is an international conference on food engineering.  Its 14th edition was organised in Nantes by the International Association for Engineering and Food (IAEF) with the support of the SFGP (Société Française de Génie des Procédés), the CNRS (Conseil National de la Recherche Scientifique) and the INRAE (Institut National de Recherche sur l'Agriculture, l'Alimentation et l'Environnement). The ICEF event is back in France after the ICEF9 held in Montpellier in 2004.
