1er prix RFI Chloé Bailhache

The inauguration of Technocampus Alimentation, a transfer and development centre for the agri-food industry in the Pays de la Loire region, which took place on 1 February 2018 on the La Géraudière site, provided an opportunity to present the research work of young researchers and innovative start-ups.

The workshop ‘Allô docteurs? We're looking for solutions’ included a presentation of the thesis work of Chloé Bailhache, winner of the 1st RFI Food for Tomorrow/Cap Aliment prize.

Chloé's work focuses on optimising the formulation and process conditions of cracker-type products with a view to controlling their mechanical stability, and is the subject of a CIFRE contract with Europe Snacks, the INRA BIA unit and the GEPEA laboratory at Oniris.

More broadly, this thesis is part of the collaborative regional project ‘BRICE’ (BRIs des biscottes crackers et biscuits; Contexte et Enjeux industriels, technologiques et économiques) coordinated by Alain Le Bail in collaboration with Patricia Le Bail as part of the Structure Fédérative de Recherche IBSM.
